Fever Drop Second Game to Connecticut Sun

Game Three Slated for Monday, June 10th

The Indiana Fever dropped their second game of the Commissioners Cup to the Connecticut Sun on Monday night, falling 83-75. The Fever now need to win their final game of the tournament on Monday, June 10th, in order to advance to the semifinals.

The Fever were led by Victoria Vivians, who scored 20 points. Aaliyah Boston added 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Erica Wheeler chipped in 15 points.

The Sun were led by Jonquel Jones, who had 23 points and 11 rebounds. Alyssa Thomas added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while DeWanna Bonner scored 16 points.

The Fever shot just 39.5% from the field, including 27.6% from three-point range. The Sun, on the other hand, shot 46.8% from the field, including 33.3% from three-point range.

The Fever also turned the ball over 15 times, while the Sun only had 10 turnovers.

The Fever will now have to win their final game of the tournament against the Las Vegas Aces on Monday, June 10th, in order to advance to the semifinals.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 at 7:00 PM ET.
